Women Helping Women
WHW’s primary goal is to help high-risk families break the cycle of addictions, poverty, low-self esteem, poor health care, prostitution, and incarceration, by providing grass roots, community-based services to women inmates of the Leon County Jail to help keep them out of jail. The services provided include: case management, support groups, information and referral services, job placement and educational services, parenting and life skills development. The Community Human Services Partnership funds WHW.
